Weather Forecast
Good weather should greet Yellowstone National Park visitors this Labor Day holiday weekend as visitors mark the unofficial end of summer. Daytime highs are forecast to be in the upper 50s to upper 60s with overnight lows in the upper 30s. "However, Yellowstone's weather is very unpredictable," park officials noted in a prepared statement Wednesday. "Both the park's south and east entrance roads were temporarily closed Tuesday morning, Aug. 31, due to snow; the first time this has occurred since late spring. "Fall visitors should be prepared for a wide range of weather conditions, including plows clearing snow from the roads, and temporary road closures," park officials said.
